Conversion engine
The app uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, running entirely inside your browser tab. When the page loads, the engine is warmed up during idle time so your first conversion begins immediately. Each FLAC file is decoded and re-encoded to MP3 with the LAME encoder at your selected bitrate. Because everything runs client-side, your audio never touches a server and no data is stored.
Privacy model
- No uploads: audio is processed locally in the browser.
- No account, no tracking cookies required to convert.
- No server-side storage of files or conversion history.
